Thirdspace Collective Consulting, LLC is an equity-centered consulting practice dedicated to helping schools, nonprofit organizations, and community partners design liberatory learning environments where youth can thrive.
Founded by Dr. Tia C. Dolet, Thirdspace Collective is grounded in more than a decade of experience working across K–12 schools, higher education institutions, community-based organizations, and national workforce development initiatives. Dr. Dolet’s work centers on supporting youth—particularly those from historically marginalized communities—through programming, research, and strategy that affirms their identities and expands their opportunities.

The philosophy behind Thirdspace Collective is inspired by Thirdspace Theory, which recognizes the importance of spaces where young people can challenge dominant narratives, explore their identities, and imagine new possibilities for themselves and their communities. Dr. Dolet’s doctoral research on Black girlhood, Hood Feminism, and gender-responsive programming in Washington, D.C. further informs the Collective’s approach to designing programs that center dignity, cultural knowledge, and youth leadership.
